1950's Canadian Civil Defense Wool Blanket, Brand New *RARE*
FOUND: Real Canadian wool blankets from the NESS: National Emergency Services used for the Canadian Emergency Health Services (EHS) from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. It sports a darker gray stripe and an “E.H.S.” and or DND "Dept National Defence" stamp. These are durable, warm, breathable, and naturally resistant to moisture — all crucial in emergency situations. These historically significant wool blankets have a unique connection to Canada's emergency services of the past.
