This piece of kit is the best bedroll strap I have found. The WWII bedroll carrier only works well with matching web gear. The leather blanket carriers don't lash easily to a pack. This item is perfect.
Erm, this is a strip of bedsheet. Someone ran a seam down the raw edge to prevent fraying. The other long edge on mine is the selvedge of the sheet.
Despite its maculate origin, this scarf-shaped object does keep my neck and head warm.
I burned a thread from the fringe for the smoke smell test. This is not wool, it is a polycotton blend.
