1950's Vintage Heavy Duty Canadian Military Canvas and Leather Tool Roll

This Deadstock 1950's Vintage Heavy Duty Canadian Military Canvas and Leather Tool Roll measures approximately 37.5" long when unrolled and 15" wide when the side flaps are folded in. The flaps measure approximately 4.5" wide and fold in when the roll is rolled up. These flaps help to protect the tools inside. There is a leather strip that has slits in it to allow a heavy gage belt to run through slits in it. This creates 22 slots of various sizes to hold a wide variety of tools. There is ample belting so if a larger tool needs to be put into a slot the belting can be pulled out to accomodate it. There is also a pocket at the end of the roll . The Heavy gage canvas roll features heavy gage binding on the edges and metal hardware throughout. The roll is stamped 1950-1959 (the exact year may vary) and the Canadian Broad Arrow meaning it was made for the Canadian Military. Some also have been stamped Petch and sons LTD. Ottawa . ....
