Genuine Issue:
Except for the Norwegian flag, there is no difference between this current issue Norwegian field jacket and the U.S. WWII M43 Field Jacket (The first of the modern field jackets and a true American classic).
The M43 went out of production in 1952.
As a WWll allied nation, Norway was given manufacturing rights for this design. 100% cotton, button front, cargo chest pockets, hand warmer pockets, drawstring waist, and shoulder epaulets. Limited supply.
