P37 Belt Khaki British WWII & Postwar
Original British military issued P37 web equipment belt. These belts were manufactured during and after the Second World War.
Made of heavy-duty cotton webbing with metal fittings. These 2¼" wide belts are all size “Small” or “Normal” and should adjust up to 44". You can choose either Brass or black bonderised Steel fittings. They were originally khaki and many have been "Blancoed" light green or light brown over the years, but this adds to web equipment's rich history.
This waist belt is part of the 1937 Pattern Web Equipment that entered British military service in 1938. It was officially removed from the British supply system between 1985 and 1991. P37 web equipment in its various forms was used by the British Royal Army, Navy, Air Force, and Commonwealth countries such as Canada, Australia, and India. In the post-WWII race to re-equip friendly nations and steer them from Soviet influence, Great Britain gifted or sold P37 W.E. to many foreign militaries around the world; some of it still used today.
