Here we offer a seldom seen item from the former East Germany. These garrison caps were once worn by the Kampfgruppen der Arbeitsklasse, or Fighting Groups of the Workers Class. The KdA was the militant arm of the DDRs communist party.
We offer 3 variations of the cap as it changed styles over time from 1966 - 1989.
These caps are in Used Condition and may exhibit dirt, stains, and fading. Some even have the old fighters names written inside. The caps are stamped MdI (Ministerium des Innern) for Ministry of the Interior which governed such entities as the KdA and the Volkspolizei (Peoples Police). The sizes are measured in centimeters.
