Made by Potomac Field Gear for the USMC. The balaclava has a hinged face guard that allows wearer to expose face without having to remove helmet and balaclava. This is the lightweight version, and is official USMC issue.
This garment is constructed from patented Advanced Protective Fabric (APF). APF characteristics include fire resistant (garment will self extinguish once the source of ignition is removed - certified as non-melt and non-drip) advanced moisture management, anti-odor/anti-microbial (X-Static technology dramatically reduces the body odor and destroys a wide variety of harmful bacteria) and is anti-static.
