Original WWII Canadian anti-gas eye shield is made of plastic and features a simple elastic head strap. They are available in both clear and tinted lenses. These are over 77 years old and are not perfect.
These are the exact type worn by Field Marshall Erwin Rommel, aka "The Desert Fox." He most likely acquired his goggles during combat operations against Canadian forces in North Africa.
Dated 1942-43, these are unissued, in original plain paper packaging. The original date-stamped cardboard packaging held several pair and is available for an additional cost while supplies last.
